וַיְהִ֣י יַעְבֵּ֔ץ נִכְבָּ֖ד מֵאֶחָ֑יו וְאִמּ֗וֹ קָרְאָ֨ה שְׁמ֤וֹ יַעְבֵּץ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר כִּ֥י יָלַ֖דְתִּי בְּעֹֽצֶב׃
At si Jabez ay higit na marangal kaysa sa kaniyang mga kapatid; at pinangalanan siya ng kaniyang ina na Jabez, na sinasabi: “Sapagkat isinilang ko siya nang may paghihirap.”
